Semi-Frameless Trailer

This trailer combines the features of our frame type and frameless models. What makes the semi-frameless special is its ability to perform like a frame type without the added weight.
It is frequently used for many of the same applications.

Specifications:

Extrusion Construction Triple boxed-beam aluminum alloy 6061-T6 top rail. Rub-rail radius with 4" "U" floor crossmembers on 15" centers.
Floor 0.250" full length. Hi-temp aluminum alloy 5454-H34. Optional: .375" last 12'.
Sides 0.150" Hi-temp aluminum alloy 5454-H32.
Inner Radius 0.199" Thickness entire height. Aluminum alloy 6061-T6
Nose 0.250" Thickness entire height. Hi-temp aluminum alloy 5454-H32 with 3.5 x 5/8" thick banding alloy 6062-T6.
Tailgate 0.190" Hi-temp aluminum alloy 5454-H3 shell aluminum alloy 6061-T6, with OHHD aluminum/steel hangers. Air operated
Hoist Box 0.250" Hi-temp aluminum alloy 5454-H32 with nose and floor gusset bracing. Floor attachment is to Heavy 'U' Channels of .55" thick web aluminum alloy 606-T6
Chassis (half-frame) Tandem Semi-Frameless: 18" Steel I-Beam with 6" x 1/2" flange and 3/8" web.

Tri-Axle Semi-Frameless: 5/8" flange x 3/8" web aluminum alloy 6061-T6 to a depth of 18" full length.
Draft Arms 4" x 7" rectangular tubing with .186" wall with fail-safe strapped end steel bushings.
Landing Gear Stiff legs: 3.5" square tube x 3/16" wall upper, 3"square tube x 3/16" wall lower with sand shoe.

Optional: Holland Mark V two-speed landing gear. Designed to support loaded trailer.
Suspension Four Spring: Hutch H-9700; 50,000lb capacity; 6 leaf full span axle-to-axle.

Air Ride: Hendrickson Intraax; 50,000lb capacity.
Axles/ Hub & Drum Four Spring: ArvinMeritor TQ-4670-LH with 5/8" wall; 25,000lb capacity.
